Sound therapy is a powerful vibrational healing modality that can quickly shift your state of being. It’s been around for thousands of years and was known and practiced in different forms by ancient cultures across the globe. Now sound healing is arising once again to assist us in changing our frequencies.
Sound can be used to promote healing, for stress management and relaxation, releasing energy blocks, calming anxiety, accessing different states of consciousness and much more. Certain tones are said to have an affinity with specific organs and energy centers of the body. The most direct and profound effect reported by clients again and again is calming of the nervous system within minutes.
Your intention can guide the sound’s interaction with you and focus its effects in a powerful way. While not a requirement, setting an intention for your sound bath or private sound healing session is a golden opportunity to invite harmony wherever you most need it. Sound waves can move through physical matter, right through your body - even through the bones. Your intention will be carried to the deepest levels of your being.
My sound baths and sound healing sessions feature Crystal Tones Alchemy Singing Bowls. These beautiful instruments are infused with precious gemstones, crystals and minerals and create harmonious tones that elicit deep states of relaxation. Other instruments may join in, such as drum, chimes, tuning forks, rattles, and vocal toning. Over the years I’ve developed a sacred relationship with my bowls and this process. I view it as a vibrational healing session and I don’t play the same thing each time. I tune in to the moment and work intuitively together with the bowls, playing according to my knowledge and also listening to their guidance.
